Keynote

Dr. Wong invited me to co-keynote with her at the local WATESOL conference this Saturday, so OF COURSE I said yes!

But first...

While Moussa was giving his presentation, I was surprised (and mildly horrified) to see that he included a photo of me (with him and Alice) in his slide show. It was taken in Senegal in March, while I was wearing my beautiful blue BouBou at the conference. I'm on the right, looking like a graduate.



And then Dr. Wong did her portion of the keynote, and then passed the microphone to ME. Yay!

This picture is just begging for an obnoxious caption. Although it looks like I've gone "evangelical minister," I was, in fact, taking a question from an audience member while Dr. Wong reviewed her notes.



And then when it was over, we posed for a nice photo.

 And yes, the keynote went well! It was really an honor to get to do this, and I got very positive feedback afterwards. Yay!
